A Black Country company for Black Country sites

Sandwell is our patch. From the works and warehouses around the M5 and the Black Country New Road to the shops in West Bromwich town centre, the units in Oldbury, Tipton and Wednesbury, and the schools, surgeries and places of worship in every neighbourhood, the buildings are as varied as the borough.

What they all need from CCTV is the same:

  • A clear picture of faces and number plates, day and night.
  • Someone who sees it, whether that's you on your phone or trained operators at our EMCS monitoring station.
  • A company that answers when a camera's down or you need footage.

Self-monitored or monitored: you choose

  • Self-monitored. Live and recorded footage on your phone, tablet or computer, with motion alerts.
  • Monitored through our EMCS monitoring station. Your cameras link to our EMCS monitoring station, where trained operators act on what they see when you're closed. See alarm monitoring.

CCTV for Sandwell businesses and organisations

Manufacturing, metalwork and industrial units

Perimeter and yard cameras with infrared, cameras on goods-in and stores, and ANPR at the gate, for works and units across Oldbury, Tipton, Wednesbury, Great Bridge and Smethwick. Installs planned around your shifts. See fire and security for warehouses and industrial sites.

Distribution near the M5

Wide-area coverage of yards and loading bays, with storage sized to how long you need footage for claims and disputes.

Town-centre shops and offices

Shops, food outlets and offices in West Bromwich town centre and the high streets of Oldbury, Smethwick and Wednesbury: cameras on tills, stockrooms and entrances, linked to your intruder alarm. For offices, cameras can work with access control, including fingerprint readers, phone-based access, video intercoms and remotely managed systems. See access control and door entry.

Schools and academies

Cameras on gates, car parks and entrances to support safeguarding. Every engineer holds an enhanced DBS check, and we plan disruptive work for holidays, half-terms, evenings or weekends where we can.

Places of worship, community centres and charities

Gurdwaras, mosques, temples, churches and community halls often have valuable contents, busy times and long quiet spells. We design cameras that cover entrances, car parks and halls sensitively, and we understand how carefully community and charity budgets have to be managed.

Health centres and surgeries

Cameras on receptions, entrances and car parks to protect staff and patients, set up with privacy in mind.

SAFE engineer installing a CCTV camera

Why choose SAFE

  • NSI approved, and our approval covers CCTV, so our CCTV work is independently audited.
  • 200+ projects completed and 550+ sites looked after across the West Midlands.
  • 5.0 from 46 Google reviews.
  • Charity and education experience: our team installed 32 Hikvision IP turret cameras at The Hollymoor Centre, a charity-run education centre in Northfield, Birmingham. See our Birmingham CCTV page.

Is your CCTV letting you down?

  1. Footage too grainy to identify anyone.
  2. A recorder that stopped recording and nobody noticed.
  3. No way to check cameras when you're not there.
  4. An installer who doesn't answer any more.

We'll look at what you've got and tell you plainly what can be kept, such as cabling or some cameras, and what needs replacing.

What goes into a SAFE CCTV system

  • HD and 4K IP cameras, inside and out
  • Infrared night vision
  • Network video recorders sized to how long you keep footage
  • Secure remote viewing on your phone, tablet or PC, with motion alerts
  • ANPR for gates, yards and car parks
  • Self-monitored, or monitored through our EMCS monitoring station
  • Linked security: intruder alarm, access control and video intercoms

Read how to choose a commercial CCTV installer, or see our main commercial CCTV systems page.

How it works

  1. Free site survey. We walk the site with you and agree what each camera needs to see.
  2. Clear written proposal with camera positions, recording, storage and costs.
  3. Install and commission. Our team fits and tests everything, sets up remote viewing and shows your staff how to use it.
  4. Looked after. Routine maintenance, with records in your customer portal.

CCTV and UK GDPR

Business CCTV records personal data. We aim cameras at your property, put up clear signs, secure recordings and remote access with passwords, and make footage easy to find and export. You may need to pay the ICO data protection fee and you stay responsible for how footage is used, so check the ICO's guidance.

Fire and security from one team

As well as CCTV, we install and maintain fire alarms across the Black Country (fire alarm installation), emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, intruder alarms and access control. One company, one portal, one number.
